DeLaSalle Alert
The Park Board will hold a Public Hearing on DeLaSalle's expansion proposal at 5:30 6:30 p.m. on July 20 at Park Board Headquarters. Those wanting to speak can sign up at the hearing.
The Public Hearing will be before the five member Planning Committee. Members are Walt Dziedzic, John Erwin, Bob Fine, Marie Hauser and Annie Young. As with all Park Board committees, this one is stacked with three majority members. And it is expected by many that the three majority members (Fine, Hauser and Dziedzic) will vote in favor of the DeLaSalle proposal in spite of strong arguements against it.
It should be noted that one member--Marie Hauser--has a connection to DeLaSalle and should, because of a possible bias, consider excusing herself from voting on the issue. It would seen to be the appropriate thing to do.

It appears from the agenda document on the Park Board's website for the Planning Committee that this Public Hearing has been moved to 6:30pm.
