Evaluation of the 1990 St. Anthony Falls Interpretive Plan
The St. Anthony Falls Heritage Board is a little-known organization with representatives from all levels of government charged with overseeing activities in the St. Anthony Falls Heritage Zone, which is more or less the same as the historic district. They commissioned this study from consultants at the 106 Group to evaluate their 1990 plan for interpreting the history of the falls area for the public. Nicollet Island comes up quite a bit, most notably as a key site for a high priority item: interpreting the ethnic history of the area.
